Google User Data (summary)
Last updated: September 23, 2026
RepSolver connects to a client’s Google Business Profile with that client’s permission, through Google sign-in using the OAuth consent screen. What this app ACCESSES: the client’s Business Profile account and location list, the business information on those locations, and the reviews on those locations, including the reviewer’s display name, rating, review text, date and any owner reply. How it USES that data: to show the client their reviews, to alert them when a new review is posted, to post replies the client approves or enables, and to pursue the removal of a review when the client asks us to. We use it for no other purpose. How it SHARES that data: we do not sell Google user data, we do not transfer it for advertising, credit assessment, lending or resale, and we do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Retention: review data is deleted within 30 days after the client disconnects their Google account or closes their account. Limited Use: RepSolver’s use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. How it STORES that data: Google user data is held in an access-restricted database on servers we control in the United States, separate from our marketing systems. OAuth tokens are encrypted at rest and the refresh token never leaves our server. Access is limited to the staff who operate the service. Scope we request: a single Google OAuth scope, https://www.googleapis.com/auth/business.manage, which is the only scope that grants access to the Business Profile account, location and review APIs we use. We request no other scope. Who to write to: requests about Google user data, including deletion, go to team@repsolver.com. Every other privacy request goes to team@repsolver.com. How to revoke: you can disconnect at any time from your RepSolver member page, or remove RepSolver's access directly from your Google Account at myaccount.google.com/permissions. The full detail is in section 14 below.
14 – Google User Data
RepSolver offers software that connects to a client's Google Business Profile with that client's permission. This section explains how we handle data obtained through Google APIs.
What we access. With the client's authorization, granted through Google sign-in on the OAuth consent screen, we access the client's Business Profile account and location list, the business information on those locations, and the reviews on those locations, including the reviewer's display name, rating, review text, date, and any owner reply. With the client's approval or under the client's reply settings, we also post replies to the client's reviews on the client's behalf.
Why we access it. We use this data to show the client their reviews, to alert them when a new review is posted, to post replies the client approves or enables (the client can turn posting off and can edit or delete any reply at any time), to pursue the removal of a review when the client asks us to, and to prepare that client's own activity reports. We use it for no other purpose.
What we never do. We do not sell Google user data. We do not transfer it to third parties except service providers acting on our behalf to operate the service, and never for advertising, credit assessment, lending, or resale. We do not use it to train generalized artificial intelligence or machine learning models. Humans read this data only with the client's explicit permission, for security purposes, to comply with applicable law, or when it has been aggregated and made anonymous.
Retention and deletion. Review data is kept while the client's account is active and is deleted within 30 days after the client disconnects their Google account or closes their account. A client may request deletion at any time by writing to team@repsolver.com.
Limited Use. RepSolver's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
